In a public announcement dated November 2, 2026, OKXICE TSV, the joint venture platform between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) for tokenized securities trading venues, disclosed that the number of issuers opposing the trading of their tokenized stocks has increased to 56, with six new additions: Tesla (TSLA), Amazon (AMZN), Netflix (NFLX), SpaceX (SPCX), Lam Research (LRCX), and SoFi (SOFI). For stocks that receive an objection, the platform will not list third-party-issued tokenized versions.
The Opposition List Grew from 38 to 56 Companies Within a Week
Announcement Date | Cumulative Oppositions | New Companies
October 28 | 38 | First published list
October 30 | 50 | 12 others including Nvidia, Costco, Nike, Micron Technology
November 2 | 56 | Tesla, Amazon, Netflix, SpaceX, Lam Research, SoFi
TechFlow compared three announcements dated October 28, October 30, and November 2. The November 2 announcement only added these six companies compared to the previous one, with no substantive changes to the remaining content.
According to CoinDesk statistics, the 63 ticker symbols initially selected by OKXICE corresponded to 62 companies. As of the October 30 announcement, 43 had opposed, while another 7 opponents were not on the initial list; among the 19 companies on the original list that had not yet objected at that time were the 6 newly added this round. Based on calculations by TechFlow, as of the November 2 announcement, 49 of the original 62 have objected, accounting for approximately 79%. Including the 7 off-list opponents brings the total to exactly 56.
Thirteen companies from the initial list still do not appear on the opposition list: Apple, Palantir, Strategy, Robinhood, Coinbase, Circle, Super Micro Computer, ServiceNow, GE Vernova, Boeing, Home Depot, Securitize, and BitGo. According to CoinDesk reports, both Securitize and BitGo previously stated they did not intend to object.
Why Issuers Can Block Trades with a Single Veto
OKXICE TSV operates under an Innovation Exemption issued by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on September 17, 2026. It was added to the SEC's list on October 4, with the exemption valid until September 17, 2031. The rules stipulate that if an issuer files an objection within 30 calendar days of receiving notice from the trading venue, the venue cannot trade tokenized shares of that company issued by third parties; tokens issued directly by the issuer are exempt from this restriction. The venue must disclose received objections within five business days.
Operator OKXICE LLC is jointly held 50% by ICE and OKX US Holding Company OKC USA Holding. Trading takes place in Uniswap v4 liquidity pools on X Layer, with tokenized stocks paired against stablecoins such as USDC and USDG, operating 24 hours a day. Tokens not issued by the respective company must be custodied by brokerages at a 1:1 ratio against the underlying stocks.
According to calculations by TechFlow, only about 21% of the first batch of 62 selected companies have not objected. Within the initial list, only these 13 companies remain eligible for the platform to potentially list third-party tokenized versions. Andrew Cuomo, Co-Executive Chairman of OKXICE and former Governor of New York, stated at the October 30 press conference that as more people become familiar with tokenization and see its benefits, more companies will join.
According to CoinDesk, companies that received notice on October 4 have an opposition deadline expiring around November 3, with each company's countdown starting upon receipt. Based on TechFlow's calculations, given the five-business-day disclosure window, objections submitted within the timeframe should appear in announcements no later than around November 10, at which point the final stances of Apple and the other 12 companies can be confirmed.
