Bitgert (BRISE) is a cryptocurrency engineering initiative that debuted in July 2021, focusing on blockchain solutions and a centralized exchange. The project originally operated on the BNB Chain, utilizing BNB for reward distributions. A major milestone occurred in 2022 with the introduction of the BRC20 blockchain, which provides rapid cross-chain transfers and virtually non-existent gas costs. Specifically, the network supports up to 100,000 TPS, with transaction fees set at $0.0000000000001.
The ecosystem comprises several offerings, including the Bitgert Blockchain, Bitgert Exchange, Paybrise, a Real Estate Marketplace, a Decentralized marketplace, BRISE staking, and BRISE Swap. Bitgert positions itself as a substitute for the widely used DEX PancakeSwap.
BRISE serves as the native token, enabling users to stake and receive rewards in BUSD exclusively on the BSC network. On the BSC Chain, the smart contract incorporates a buyback feature where 5% of transaction fees go toward buybacks, 3% toward marketing, and 4% toward staking rewards. The team states this mechanism aims to make BRISE a deflationary asset by supporting its price. Conversely, the smart contract on the ETH Network imposes zero tax fees.
BRISE asserts it has practical utility as a global payment system, functioning as a peer-to-peer (P2P) service within the BRISE dApp Wallet. This allows buyers and sellers to transact directly without third-party involvement, ensuring quick, secure, and fee-free exchanges.
