Bitwise, Fidelity Add Cash as Blackrock Sheds $95M
The pressure on bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) is still visible, though the pace is beginning to soften.
Funds posted $115.56 million in net outflows Tuesday, following a $398.62 million withdrawal Monday and Friday’s $643.33 million exit.
Blackrock’s IBIT lost $94.98 million, while Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust shed $52.60 million. Some buyers stepped in. Bitwise’s BITB attracted $21.92 million, Fidelity’s FBTC added $6.76 million and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT brought in $3.34 million.
Trading value fell to $1.46 billion, with net assets closing at $99.16 billion.
Bitcoin Selling Cools as Price Steadies
The decline in ETF redemptions comes as bitcoin’s price began stabilizing above $78,000.
That combination deserves attention.
Friday and Monday produced more than $1 billion in combined bitcoin ETF withdrawals during a period of sharper market stress. Tuesday’s smaller exit suggests the urgency to reduce exposure may be fading as bitcoin finds firmer footing.

The flow picture has also become less one-sided. IBIT remains under pressure, yet inflows into Bitwise, Fidelity and Morgan Stanley show that some investors are already treating lower prices as an opportunity to rebuild exposure.
A move toward smaller outflows, followed by a flat or positive session, would strengthen the case for short-term stabilization.
Ether Continues to Lag Bitcoin
Ether ETFs recorded another $85.35 million in net outflows, extending their losing streak to seven sessions.
Blackrock’s ETHA accounted for $74.44 million, while Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust lost $10.91 million. Trading activity totaled $352.94 million, with net assets closing at $13.32 billion.
The divergence with bitcoin remains pronounced.
Bitcoin outflows have slowed materially over the past three sessions. Ether continues to struggle with persistent withdrawals and has yet to show the same signs of demand returning through competing funds.
That keeps ethereum at the weaker end of institutional crypto positioning heading into midweek.
Smaller Funds Remain Cautious
Zcash ETFs lost $3.58 million through Grayscale’s ZCSH, marking a second consecutive negative session after the fund’s earlier inflow streak.
NEAR ETFs shed $3.60 million through Bitwise’s NRR, with assets falling to $60.87 million.
HYPE provided the lone positive reading among the smaller categories. Grayscale’s HYPG attracted $605,080. Solana and XRP ETFs recorded no net flows.
The rest of the week now hinges on whether bitcoin’s improving flow trend can continue.
Friday delivered a rush for the exits, with Monday extending the damage. Tuesday finally showed a meaningful reduction in selling pressure as bitcoin’s price steadied above $78,000.
If redemptions continue to shrink, institutional investors may be approaching a more balanced stance. A renewed spike in outflows would leave the market vulnerable to another leg of risk reduction.
