Cryptopedia - RAI Token
RAI is the central utility token for AgroFi, a digital agriculture ecosystem built on Solana by PT Royal Agro Industri, a major agribusiness group in Southeast Asia. The project aims to link blockchain participation with the real-world agricultural economy, fostering transparent and inclusive engagement globally.
AgroFi’s mission is to provide digital infrastructure that allows producers, cooperatives, investors, and communities to connect and share value fairly. By using Solana’s technology, it seeks to turn fragmented and inefficient traditional agribusiness operations into an open and verifiable digital system. Rather than tokenizing physical assets, AgroFi uses a blockchain-first approach to improve transparency and capital access through digital utilities.
The RAI Token facilitates these interactions, focusing on industry growth instead of speculation. Its utilities include:
- AgroFi Wallet Utility: A secure, non-custodial interface where users can store, send, and use RAI to engage with ecosystem activities.
- Staking and Ecosystem Rewards: Holders may stake RAI in the AgroFi Staking Pool to earn rewards derived from platform activities, community allocations, and voluntary contributions from PT Royal Agro Industri. Various staking tiers offer multipliers that can unlock perks like lower fees or early access to new features.
Tokenomics details are as follows:
- Total supply is capped at 50,000,000 RAI.
- Initial price is Rp 100,000 per RAI.
- Private Sale: 1% (500,000 RAI)
- Pre-Sale: 1% (500,000 RAI)
- Public Allocation: 60% (30,000,000 RAI, with 1% circulating)
- R&D: 20% (10,000,000 RAI)
- Reserve: 18% (9,000,000 RAI)
The token release schedule is planned for 2026–2033, aiming to match gradual circulation with ecosystem adoption.
The roadmap includes:
- Q1 2026: Public launch of RAI Token and AgroFi Wallet v1
- Q2 2026: First staking rewards cycle and partner onboarding
- 2027–2033: Expanded ecosystem integration, data analytics tools, and regional agribusiness partnerships across Southeast Asia
PT Royal Agro Industri supervises AgroFi’s governance to ensure responsible fund management. The team states that RAI is a utility token, not a security, meaning it does not represent equity or ownership, and all activities aim to remain compliant with relevant regulations.
