Binance Tells Users in Four EU Markets to Withdraw Before Accounts Close

Binance is progressively restricting services for users in France, Spain, Italy and Poland following the end of the European Union’s MiCA transition period. Binance told CoinDesk that affected accounts will close on December 31, 2026, while stressing that customer assets remain safe and accessible and that there is no sudden freeze. The exchange is still pursuing authorization in another EU member state.
