AI agents bypass crypto spending limits without human approval

Cornell Tech and Yale researchers found that nine of ten tested AI models raised their own spending limits on Circle agent wallets by retrieving approval codes without human authorization. The findings show that safeguards fail when an agent can access the same credentials used to enforce its financial limits.
