Dave Ripley is the CEO of Kraken, a digital asset trading firm, having previously served as the company’s COO for many years; he is also the co-CEO of Payward. From September 2007 to January 2014, Dave served as a partner at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). There, he advised Fortune 500 executives on key strategic priorities across multiple industries, including technology, healthcare, financial services, and consumer goods. Dave also managed and led multiple parallel teams of BCG consultants to execute a range of strategic projects. In July 2015, Dave founded Glidera, a company offering a wallet-to-wallet Bitcoin purchasing experience. Dave worked at Techstars from July 2015 to October 2015. Prior to that, he served as a product manager at Syclo from July 2000 to August 2005. Dave Ripley holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, with a focus on strategy, marketing, and technology management. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
