Shuffle (SHFL) launched on 14 March 2024 via a liquidity bootstrapping pool (LBP), establishing a total token supply of 1,000,000,000. During the LBP, 39,316,004 of the 50,000,000 tokens allocated for this event (representing 5% of the total) were sold, while the treasury retained the rest to support liquidity. The initial circulating supply stood at 67,976,306.99 tokens (6.80%), comprising the LBP sales, liquidity provisions, and 20% of Airdrop 1.
Future increases in circulating supply will come from vested airdrops and liquidity mining, whereas team and early contributor tokens are scheduled to enter circulation over a longer period. The community supply figure includes vested airdrops, liquidity mining rewards, and LBP sales. Although the maximum supply is capped at 1,000,000,000 SHFL, the actual total supply is designed to decrease over time through Buyback and Burn mechanisms driven by wagering on the Shuffle platform.
