MILLI (MILLI) debuted on March 1st, 2024, as the initial and largest dog-themed token on SEI, developed “by the SEI community, for the SEI community.” Named after the fast greyhound breed, MILLI represents SEI’s quick transaction speeds and sparked a memecoin surge by rising more than 3500% during its first week. This sharp increase brought fresh liquidity to the SEI network and contributed to SEI hitting a record high above $1 USD per coin soon after MILLI appeared, inspiring the tagline “in MILLIseconds to the moon.” Reflecting its community-focused approach, 35% of the total supply (valued at $3.5 million in tokens) was distributed to SEI users via an airdrop at launch.
