Cryptopedia - Aligned
2.1. What is Aligned (ALIGN)?
Aligned delivers one-click solutions for wallets, rollups, interoperability, and ZK services. To facilitate this, the team is developing a decentralized, high-performance, and interoperable infrastructure stack on Ethereum, featuring rollups driven by LambdaClass’ Ethrex, a high-performance Ethereum execution client.
The objective is to make Ethereum usable as a financial backend by supplying the fundamental infrastructure for verification, scalability, and interoperability.
The infrastructure stack of Aligned consists of:
- Aligned's Proof Aggregation Service, which is currently live on Ethereum mainnet alpha, lowering costs and raising throughput for rollups and ZK-based systems.
- Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS), which allows teams to deploy an Ethereum rollup with a single click.
- Wallet-as-a-Service (WaaS), where users can authenticate via Google to instantly obtain a real Ethereum wallet without handling seed phrases or browser extensions, and utilize Face ID or Touch ID to sign transactions.
- LambdaVM, the project's RISC-V zkVM (zero-knowledge virtual machine), created in collaboration with LambdaClass and 3MILabs.
These products collectively enable teams to launch and run Ethereum-connected ecosystems with minimal friction.
Through this stack, teams will be able to construct remittances, neobanks, stablecoin-based payment rails, digital identity systems, and other financial services on Ethereum with minimal friction.
This adaptability is central to the value proposition: building essential infrastructure for today, with the flexibility to power tomorrow's financial and technological innovations.
2.2. How Many Aligned Coins Are There in Circulation?
At the time of the TGE there will be approximately 1.6 billion Align tokens (16%) in circulation, out of a total supply of 10,000,000,000.
