Cryptopedia - INFINIT
INFINIT is an agentic DeFi protocol introduced in November 2023. It allows autonomous agents to carry out multi-step strategies across various decentralized finance applications. By integrating real-time data, a natural language interface, and AI-powered agents, the platform lets users research and execute complex onchain strategies within a single workflow.
The system relies on a core engine named INFINIT Intelligence, which acts as a personalized DeFi assistant. This tool examines wallet activity, evaluates goals and risk profiles, and leverages both onchain and offchain data to suggest strategies. The app handles tasks like token swaps, lending, bridging, staking, and yield farming, all coordinated by AI agents without taking custody of assets.
An infrastructure layer known as the INFINIT Agents Swarm coordinates more than 20 AI agents across multiple chains. This setup enables users to perform strategies involving several DeFi actions via one transaction. Community members can create and publish these strategies, with execution remaining non-custodial and conducted directly from the user’s wallet.
The protocol features a creator-based monetization model. DeFi researchers, KOLs, and protocol experts may publish strategies on the platform to earn a share of execution fees. This approach aims to foster an attention-driven ecosystem where users engage with trusted and verified strategies.
The native token, IN, functions as the utility and governance token for the platform. It provides:
- Fee-sharing via staking
- Access to premium features (such as fee discounts and higher usage limits)
- Voting rights on protocol integrations and upgrades
Investors in INFINIT include Electric Capital, Mirana Ventures, Hashed, Lightspeed Faction, and others.
