AWAKE (A) is a stablecoin with a focus on privacy, issued by the Awake platform. It is engineered to keep a 1:1 peg with DAI, meaning 1 A equals 1 DAI. The system operates on a fully collateralized reserve model, guaranteeing that each A token in circulation is supported by an equal quantity of DAI stored in the treasury. Using Awake’s unique minting algorithm, the non-stable LGNS token is transformed into the privacy-oriented stablecoin A. In this process, LGNS is deposited per the protocol’s collateralization rules and is permanently burned once A is minted, which lowers the circulating supply of LGNS. Simultaneously, a matching amount of DAI is locked in the treasury at a 1:1 ratio to fully back every A token. Holders can redeem A for DAI whenever they choose via the protocol, which helps maintain price stability, transparency, and the security of assets.
