Giveth is a community dedicated to Building the Future of Giving through blockchain technology. The group aims to support and reward the funding of public goods by providing open, transparent, and free access to the revolutionary funding opportunities found within the Ethereum ecosystem.

The GIVeconomy allows donors to charitable projects on Giveth to become members and shareholders of the Giveth organization. It serves as an entry point for “GIVers” to learn about and earn rewards through DeFi, while creating utility and value for the GIV token.

Launched on December 24, 2021, the GIVeconomy is divided into 5 parts:

• GIVbacks: A program rewarding donors to verified Giveth projects with GIV, granting them governance over the platform.
• GIVfarm: Rewards for stakers and liquidity providers who support the GIV token.
• GIVgarden: The decentralized governance platform for the GIVeconomy, where GIV holders vote on proposals seeking DAO funding.
• GIVstream: A continuous flow of GIV that increases governance power for participants as the GIVeconomy grows, lasting until December 23, 2026.
• GIVdrop: A distribution to past Giveth participants and supporters intended to kickstart the economy with value-aligned backers.

Mission The goal is to establish a culture of giving that empowers and rewards individuals who contribute to projects, society, and the world.

Vision The aim is for giving to become effortless, with people globally receiving rewards for generating positive change.
