APX Finance (APX) is described as the primary decentralized exchange (DEX) for crypto derivatives on BNB Chain. It provides both order book and on-chain perpetuals on major leading blockchains, aiming to offer traders and stakers distinct opportunities. The platform supports trading with up to 1001x leverage, market-lowest slippage, and competitive fees. It also claims to provide the highest stablecoin percentage LP yield among perpetual trading platforms to enhance returns. The source lists V1 and V2. APX is the native token of the platform.

APX DEX stands out by serving various user types and trader profiles through two distinct perpetual trading models.

The V1 OrderBook Perp utilizes an "off-chain transaction matching + on-chain fund settlement and custody" structure. This approach ensures high transaction performance and quick response times while keeping user funds secure. Traders can access over 90 markets with high leverage, paying competitive fees of 0.02% for makers and 0.07% for takers.

The V2 On-Chain Perp operates on a fully on-chain liquidity model, offering transparent trades with minimal slippage. All V2 transactions execute against the ALP pool, which supplies liquidity for every trading pair to maximize capital efficiency. The system uses a dual oracle model featuring Binance Oracle and Chainlink to ensure accurate pricing. Users can trade over 25 markets across multiple asset classes with up to 250x leverage, low fees, and trading rewards. Under Degen Mode specifically, traders can access up to 1001x leverage, 0 slippage, and 0 open position fee.

APX serves as the native token for APX Finance. The project went live in December 2021, establishing a total supply of 10 billion APX. Its initial debut on a decentralized exchange occurred on PancakeSwap at a listing price of $0.0004.

The token offers several utilities:

• Pay trading fees using APX in V1
• Receive APX as trading rewards in V2
• Stake APX within the APX DAO to gain voting power for governance, boost trading rewards, and earn staking rewards
• Collect APX as ALP staking rewards in V2

The initial distribution of APX was allocated as follows:

• 45% (4,500,000,000 APX) to the Community Treasury;
• 44% (4,400,000,000 APX) to Users for trading rewards;
• 5% (500,000,000 APX) for Marketing & Partnerships;
• 3.5% (350,000,000 APX) for Retroactive Mining Rewards [Completed];
• 2.5% (250,000,000 APX) for the PancakeSwap listing [Completed].

In 2022, a total of 5,755,000,000 APX was burned. The balances before and after this event were:

• ApolloX Treasury: decreased from 4,455,000,000 APX to 1,100,000,000 APX
• Marketing Expenses: decreased from 500,000,000 APX to 400,000,000 APX
• Trading Rewards: decreased from 4,300,000,000 APX to 2,000,000,000 APX
• Total Amount: decreased from 9,255,000,000 APX to 3,500,000,000 APX

The 1% burn tax previously applied to every APX transaction has been removed.
