Cryptopedia - XSwap Protocol
XSwap Protocol is the 1st automated market maker and Launchpad for XRC20 tokens constructed on the XDC Network (XDC), with V3 now live. The project focuses on becoming a challenger to BSC-based PancakeSwap (CAKE) and Ethereum-based Uniswap (UNI). Its primary goals are to provide crypto enthusiasts with secure, fast, and resource-efficient tools for peer-to-peer digital asset exchange.
Released on the XinFin XDC Network, XSWAP enables exchanges between XRC-20 tokens, which are similar in standard to ERC-20 on Ethereum and TRC-20 on Tron. In addition to a reliable exchange and liquidity ecosystem, XSWAP plans to act as a gateway to crypto markets for early-stage products.
Developers selected the XinFin XDC Network for several reasons. First, its holistic approach suits many use cases for governments, private firms, and research teams. Its hybrid architecture makes it a versatile and efficient distributed solution. Second, the XinFin XDC Network processes more than 2,000 transactions per second with two-second latency. The core native asset, XDC coin, will serve as a mediator in XSWAP operations.
XSWAP features a native high-performance automated market making engine. Liquidity providers lock XRC-20 tokens in various pools to earn periodic LP rewards, making farming a simple passive income opportunity. The protocol also plans to have its own native staking module, where users can benefit from injecting liquidity into a single token, unlike liquidity farming.
The core utility and governance token is XSP, with an aggregated supply limited at 13,000,000,000 coins. Ten percent of tokens are locked for the team and founders with 30-month vesting, and a total of 130 million XSP tokens will be unlocked every 90 days. Twenty-three percent of tokens will be released for public sale. A total of 20% tokens will fuel the listing campaign and partnerships. The largest share, 47% of XSP, will be allocated to bootstrap XSWAP ecosystem progress. A significant percent of the supply will be distributed among bounty hunters, airdrop participants, and ambassadors. XSP tokens will also be used for additional rewards in staking and farming programs.
