Nearkat ($KAT) is a fan-created memecoin inspired by "Nearkat," the original mascot of NEAR Protocol. While meerkats are small burrowing creatures that inhabit extensive underground systems, the far less common Nearkats reside in large P2P networks. There, they labor continuously to enhance scalability, resolve vulnerabilities, and enable faster throughput. Like their meerkat counterparts, Nearkats are insectivores that search the network to consume bugs.
