The L3 token has a total supply of 3,333,333,333. Its economic model features two burn mechanisms and a single staking system known as Layered Staking, which offers three tiers of rewards.

Through Layered Staking, participants receive passive L3 yield based on their staked amount. Those who both stake and actively engage with Layer3 can also gain increased utility, additional governance tokens (such as OP and ARB), and more L3.

Regarding the burn mechanisms, communities must buy and burn L3 tokens to post quests, deploy incentives, or access CUBE credentials on the network. CUBE credentials serve as unique digital IDs that verify omnichain achievements, allowing for targeted user incentives. Furthermore, users may burn L3 tokens to unlock benefits within partner ecosystems, such as fee discounts, early access, exclusive NFTs, and other perks.
