The project also maintains partnerships with Polkadot, Best Buy, Amazon, Indiegogo, PAID Ignition, Duckstarter, Poolz, and Flybit.

DPR serves as the native token for Deeper Network, functioning as the gas within its ecosystem. Its value stems from user engagement with decentralized applications and services on the platform, alongside incentives provided through staking and mining rewards. This structure supports a self-sustaining decentralized economy. The team plans to develop interoperability with other ecosystems, which would allow DPR to be utilized across different networks in the future. The total supply is limited to 10 billion tokens, with 60% allocated specifically for mining rewards distributed to Deeper Network users.

• Decentralized Private Network - P2P Bandwidth Sharing: Users can earn and spend DPR tokens by sharing or consuming bandwidth on the network. Unlike traditional P2P models that often suffer from imbalances between usage and contribution due to a lack of economic incentives, DPR encourages active bandwidth contribution. This approach aims to make the network more robust and performant for all participants.
• Decentralized Cyber Security Services: Every Deeper node functions as a next-generation firewall (NGFW), protecting against network scanning, overflow attacks, injection attacks, and denial of service attacks. DPR tokens can be used to purchase Deeper nodes on-demand as a cloud firewall, which hides IP addresses and prevents various network attacks. This allows websites hosted on the Deeper Network infrastructure to operate without fear of being scanned, blocked, or attacked. Additionally, DPR is used for AtomOS updates (the lock-free network operating system), threat database updates, and security subscription services. Users can also earn DPR by contributing to network security, such as by discovering and reporting malicious behaviors.
• Decentralized Gateway Services and dAPP Store: Deeper acts as a platform provider for decentralized apps, aiming to introduce users to Web3.0 much like Apple’s ecosystem did for the mobile Internet. Within the D-Ad ecosystem, users can publish ads using DPR without third-party involvement. In the dAPP ecosystem, third-party developers are required to stake a certain amount of DPR tokens to host their applications. Furthermore, these third-party dAPPs must accept DPR as a payment method for their services.
• Decentralized Web Services: Decentralized DNS aims to democratize the Internet and prevent censorship or control of the open internet. DPR can be used to anonymously purchase decentralized domain names on the Deeper Chain, granting owners complete ownership rather than leasing through ICANN. Domain owners can also use DPR to obtain cryptographic keys for digital signatures, removing the need for third-party Certificate Authorities (CAs). Additionally, users can earn DPR by becoming resource providers on Deeper’s decentralized CDN network, which provides faster edge access to cached content.

Built on Polkadot, Deeper Network was elected by the Parity committee to participate in the Substrate Builder's Program for its concept of bridging the gap to Web 3.0. In early 2021, the project was selected as a winner of the Substrate Builder's Web 3.0 grant to build important infrastructure for Polkadot.
