Datagram operates as a global, AI-powered Hyper-Fabric Network that provides real-time connectivity and enables DePIN cross-network interoperability. The system is supported by hundreds of thousands of nodes located in 150+ countries.
The project aims to resolve the issues inherent in traditional cloud infrastructure, which is centralized, expensive, and inefficient, thereby creating bottlenecks for Web3 apps, AI tasks, gaming, and real-time communication. Although other decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePINs) offer an alternative, they remain fragmented and encounter structural barriers that hinder economies of scale.
Datagram addresses these challenges via its Hyper-Fabric Network, which unifies decentralized node networks into a scalable, high-performance connectivity infrastructure while optimizing idle hardware and bandwidth. Its AI-driven architecture dynamically allocates resources in real time to ensure efficiency, affordability, and interoperability across various networks. In contrast to traditional cloud providers that retain centralized control, Datagram is community-owned and powered, promoting long-term sustainability and a decentralized future where connectivity is open, efficient, and available to everyone.
Datagram is designed to function as a baselayer for the DePIN ecosystem:
- For businesses and developers: It provides a scalable, cost-effective Decentralized Infrastructure-as-a-Service for real-time communication, gaming, AI, and Internet applications.
- For node operators and the community: It offers an accessible method to contribute hardware and bandwidth resources, featuring performance-based incentives that align with network demand and usage.
