VNX Euro (VEUR) merges conventional finance with advanced blockchain systems. Issued by a token generator licensed under Liechtenstein’s Blockchain Act, this digital Euro aims to tokenize real-world assets for digital investment access.
Operating on a multichain platform, VEUR utilizes multiple blockchain networks to boost versatility and cross-ecosystem accessibility. The underlying technology guarantees security and transparency by recording every transaction on an immutable public ledger, which aids in fraud prevention and auditability.
To guard against malicious actors, the blockchain employs consensus mechanisms like Proof of Work (PoW) or Proof of Stake (PoS). These require participants to solve mathematical problems or stake tokens, making it practically infeasible for any single entity to control the majority of computational power or tokens needed to manipulate the network.
VEUR is also backed by tokenized gold, meaning each circulating token has an equivalent gold reserve. This structure adds stability, offers intrinsic value, and provides a hedge against cryptocurrency market volatility. Investors may use VEUR to protect assets, trade for other digital assets, or participate in decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.
Regulatory compliance is central to its framework. VNX Commodities, the issuer, is registered with the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority (FMA) under the Tokens and TT Services Providers Law (TVTG). This oversight ensures that token generation and services meet strict financial regulations, enhancing investor trust.
In April 2022, VNX launched its European platform for investing in tokenized traditional assets, introducing VNX Gold (VNXAU), which is fully backed by physical gold. By December 2022, the company expanded its lineup with VNX Euro (VEUR) and VNX Swiss Franc (VCHF). This allows investors to interact with digital assets linked to traditional currencies, facilitating trading in native currencies, better portfolio management, and exploration of opportunities in both centralized finance (CeFi) and DeFi.
The multichain design allows VEUR integration across various networks, supporting VNX’s strategy to list on more exchanges and improve liquidity. Users can employ VEUR for hedging, rapid trading on centralized and decentralized exchanges, and earning yields through lending, liquidity provision, staking, and other crypto ecosystem investments.
