Quantoz EURQ (EURQ) is a stablecoin that maintains a 1:1 peg to the euro. It is issued by Quantoz Payments BV, an Electronic Money Institution regulated by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB). The token aims to comply with Micar regulations, and its whitepaper defining it as an Electronic Money Token (EMT) has been filed with the Dutch Financial Authorities (AFM).

To meet regulatory standards, circulating EURQ tokens are backed by euros at a rate of 102%. These reserves are held by Stichting Quantoz, a foundation structured to be bankruptcy remote. The foundation keeps the funds in accounts at systemically important banks and in highly liquid euro bonds, and it is under prudential supervision by the Dutch Central Bank.
