Nibiru Chain operates as a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain and smart contract platform, distinguished by its exceptional throughput and robust security measures. Since emerging from stealth mode in late 2022, dozens of initiatives have started building on Nibiru in areas such as Real World Assets (RWAs), gaming, and Decentralized Finance (DeFi). These projects share a common goal of making digital asset interactions fast, secure, and easy for all users.

Unique Divine, Nibiru Chain’s Co-Founder and CEO, previously directed data science and DeFi trading strategy at Sommelier Protocol. His career focuses on applied machine learning, including work as an AI engineering consultant for startups and Fortune 500 firms.

Jonathan Gimeno, Co-Founder and Director of Engineering, spent three years as Tendermint's Engineering Director. He is a core developer for Cosmos-SDK, Gaia, and Tendermint Core.

Kevin Yang, Co-Founder and CTO, was a Senior Software Engineer at Google for three years. He also developed Web2 digital products at organizations such as Headspace and Coursera.

The broader Nibiru team draws from backgrounds in traditional finance, Web2 technology, and diverse DeFi areas. Previous employers include Siemens, Veeam Software, BNP Paribas, BitMex, Binance, J.P. Morgan, and CIG, among others.
