KnoxDAO operates as a Learn2Earn decentralized autonomous organization, managed jointly by the Knoxers NFT house and the KNOX token house.

The distribution of KNOX tokens occurred on the Celo Network, allocated at a 1:1 ratio to two groups: existing KNX holders possessing more than 1 KNX in their wallets, and Ubeswap KNX-CELO liquidity providers. The eligibility snapshot was captured on March 18 across both the Ethereum and Celo Networks, meaning that KNX holders on Ethereum also received their KNOX tokens on the Celo Network.

KnoxWorld ReFi Learn2Earn

To synchronize its Learn2Earn objectives with the Celo Climate Collective, the project has launched KnoxWorld. This initiative features a set of 3,000 NFTs embedded with terminology linked to global conservation and Regenerative Finance (ReFi). A weekly crossword puzzle game utilizing these 3,000 NFTs takes place on Twitter, aiming to highlight critical challenges where nature, humanity, and climate intersect. The team hopes this L2E game will teach individuals to preserve essential natural resources and foster a future of shared prosperity. Furthermore, they aim for these 3,000 KnoxWorld NFTs to serve as foundational elements for collaborative ReFi education within the Celo ecosystem.
