Cryptopedia - Intuition
Intuition decentralizes information—specifically its trust, ownership, discoverability, and monetization—to allow more of humanity’s intuition to enter the world. While blockchains decentralized money, Intuition is built by crypto industry veterans and decentralized identity pioneers, many of whom have collaborated for nearly a decade. It stands as the first blockchain and protocol designed specifically for information finance: the concept that information can be structured, verified, exchanged, and valued similarly to financial assets.
More than just a network or protocol, Intuition aims to serve as the missing trust layer for the internet and AI. It seeks to embed human intuition into machine intelligence and construct an economy where ideas become assets, reputation becomes capital, and knowledge flows freely. This model intends to shift control away from Big Tech, allowing everyone to own and monetize their contributions.
The global knowledge economy, valued at over $200T, is the largest market on earth, supporting every financial transaction, market, and AI system. However, its infrastructure is described as broken: fragmented, unverifiable, and monopolized. Issues such as deepfakes and hallucinations are widespread. Ninety percent of the world’s data has been generated in the past two years, AI consumption is doubling every 18–24 months, and fewer than 10 companies control more than 80% of global information flows. Although individuals produce most of this knowledge, they capture less than 1% of its value.
To realize the full potential of global data, the knowledge economy’s rails must be rebuilt to be open, decentralized, and inclusive. Intuition provides this infrastructure. As the native chain for Information Finance (InfoFi), it aims to do for knowledge what Ethereum did for money by turning information into programmable, composable, and tradable assets. Serving as the settlement and distribution layer for information, Intuition enables people and machines to access needed information from trusted sources when required. In this decentralized network, facts, claims, reputations, and attestations move as smoothly as token transfers, all denominated in the native token, TRUST.
This creates programmatic monetization and distribution rails for data: a decentralized data liquidity layer designed to remove censorship, bias, and manipulation, ensuring no single gatekeeper controls visibility. This unlocks new Web3 use cases, including open, decentralized versions of Google, Wikipedia, AI training sets, marketplaces, and news platforms, allowing developers to rebuild essential applications as public, verifiable infrastructure. The intended outcome is not merely more information, but better intuition—a higher-resolution understanding of the world that supports smarter AI, safer markets, and more confident collective decisions.
