DepinSim functions as a decentralized connectivity protocol that leverages crypto-enabled eSIMs to deliver global mobile internet access. By merging telecommunications infrastructure with blockchain-based identity, payments, and data settlement, the system allows users to utilize roaming data services without relying on centralized account management or traditional telecom contracts.
Through its application, users can directly acquire eSIM profiles and mobile data access, which covers more than 190 countries. The protocol features a task-based participation model where users earn mobile data allocations and ecosystem incentives by engaging in protocol activities and partner integrations.
A central element of DepinSim is the tokenization of mobile data usage. Data is treated as a real-world asset (RWA) that can be priced, allocated, and settled on-chain via programming. This data consumption creates protocol-level fees, establishing recurring revenue streams from enterprise integrations, data trading mechanisms, and connectivity services.
The platform includes a built-in decentralized identity (DID) system and an MPC-based wallet, allowing users to handle payments, connectivity access, and application interactions within one interface. DepinSim operates across multiple blockchain ecosystems, such as Kaia, TON, and BNB, and aims to support third-party decentralized application integrations.
The project has been live in production for over one year and reports an estimated annual recurring revenue (ARR) of approximately USD 1 million, derived mainly from enterprise partnerships, data usage, and connectivity services.
