The project is managed by a team of industry veterans with experience in franchises like MapleStory, Mabinogi, and Dungeon & Fighter. Backed by over 100 dedicated professionals globally, the team combines expertise in game development and blockchain integration.

Technologically, MapleStory Universe is built on Avalanche L1, described as one of the fastest layer-1 blockchains. This infrastructure supports secure and efficient asset transactions and aims to ensure seamless gaming experiences even during peak periods.

The first title in this universe is MapleStory N, a PC-based MMORPG planned for release in the first half of 2025. It intends to offer a user-driven economy where items and rewards are NFTized, allowing players to acquire assets through gameplay activities like defeating monsters and completing quests, rather than traditional cash shop monetization.
