Hadley Stern is a board member of DeFi Development and previously served as Chief Business Officer at Marinede. From 2021 to 2023, at BNY Mellon, Stern served as Global Head of Digital Asset Custody, leading the development of the first bank-grade crypto custody platform, integrating Bitcoin and Ethereum custody into a regulated banking system. From 2018 to 2020, as Chief Operating Officer at Bloq, he significantly increased revenue and managed operations, overseeing the profit and loss statement and product roadmap for a leading blockchain infrastructure company. He previously held positions at Fidelity Investments from 2001 to 2018, including Founding President of Fidelity Digital Asset Services, launching digital asset trading and custody services, and leading the Fidelity Blockchain Incubator project from 2014. He is a graduate of Concordia University.
