DecimalChain distinguishes itself by offering a straightforward constructor for generating various token types, including liquid and illiquid assets, stablecoins, and NFTs. Users can create tokens via the DecimalChain designer without requiring technical expertise or installing extra software. Any currency within the Decimal network can be utilized to transfer these user-created tokens.
The platform incorporates several advanced blockchain innovations:
- Asset tokenization;
- Instant payments;
- Loyalty system points;
- Cashback services;
- User identification;
- Verification of ownership rights and document authenticity;
- Supply chain goods tracking;
- Transparent algorithms for the gambling sector;
- Automatic contract execution;
- Payment guarantees and value security;
- Access management for various resources;
- Equitable voting, lending, and similar functions.
Through its innovative approach, DecimalChain establishes a technological and conceptual framework that encourages cooperation by enabling interaction with numerous blockchain networks and associated projects. The Decimal blockchain is supported by a substantial community of enthusiasts, comprising users and other products developed by the BitTeam team.
DEL Benefits
- Secure storage in a decentralized wallet, where access to coins remains exclusively with the user.
- The ability to bond DEL to a validator to “mine” sought-after cryptocurrency without incurring equipment costs or server maintenance.
- Transfers are completed in six seconds.
- The average transfer fee is approximately 0.41 DEL.
- An emphasis on easy, fast, and low-cost transfers helps stabilize the DEL market price, facilitating broad adoption in traditional business.
- DEL serves as a reserve currency for creating new coins, passing its advantages to custom currencies. This allows all Decimal blockchain coins to be exchanged within seconds at a fair market price determined by formulas.
Circulation and Emission The total supply of DEL is capped at 94 billion coins. Developers permit the possibility of increasing total emission if network validators vote in favor of such a decision.
New coins are generated through “mining,” where validators collect transactions, pack them into blocks, and secure them via complex cryptographic computing. The DPOS consensus enables rapid transaction verification by specialized network participants known as validators, who operate under a strict system of fines and rewards paid in network coins.
At the launch of DecimalChain, the validator reward per created block was 50 DEL. This amount increases by five DEL every 432 thousand blocks. As of March 3, 2021, the block reward stands at 85 DEL. This increasing reward structure is designed to attract validators at any stage of the network's development.
Emission continues for nine years; in the tenth year, basic block rewards will cease entirely, leaving only the total fees from transactions in the block.
Upon network launch, a DEL premine occurred in the genesis block, totaling 200 million DEL. Each of the four initial validators received 40 million DEL (totaling 160 million DEL). The remaining 40 million DEL were offered for sale to project investors.
