Coin98 is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform providing access to yield farming, staking, and cross-chain swaps. The project aims to serve as a Gateway connecting traditional finance users to DeFi services across various blockchains, addressing unmet industry demand. This goal is pursued through a product suite comprising Coin98 Wallet, Coin98 Exchange, and Space Gate.

• Coin98 Wallet: Enables users to manage, store, send, and receive crypto assets while connecting to many dApps. It supports more than 40 blockchains, including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, and Terra, available via Chrome extension and mobile apps for iOS and Android.

• Space Gate: A cross-chain bridge facilitating value transfers and swaps between different networks.

C98 serves as the native utility token for the platform, intended for paying service fees, governance, staking incentives, and exclusive membership benefits. The roadmap includes plans to build an NFT marketplace, derivatives market, megafarm, lending and borrowing platform, and launchpad. Coin98 was a Binance Launchpad project in July 2021.

Thanh Le and Vinh The Nguyen established the platform together. Le is a serial entrepreneur who made early investments in projects such as ThorChain, Band Protocol, and Alpha Finance. Nguyen previously co-founded Kytek Software, a firm focused on application development and review. Khiem Dang serves as the CTO and is also a co-founder of Kytek Software.

Coin98 Wallet distinguishes itself by introducing the first multi-chain compatible wallet engine. This design allows users to access wallets across various blockchains simultaneously using a single passphrase, eliminating the need for complex switching procedures.

C98 serves as the utility and governance token for the Coin98 network. Currently, there are 185,000,000 C98 coins in circulation, a figure that matches the total supply. The maximum supply is capped at 1,000,000,000.

The distribution of tokens is broken down as follows:

• 20% for community development
• 20% for the team
• 15% for strategic sales
• 12% for the treasury
• 5% for seed sales
• 5% for the Binance Launchpad sale
• 2% for advisors

The C98 token operates on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Solana, appearing as an ERC-20, BEP-20, and SPL asset. To maintain security for its smart contracts and products, Coin98 relies on both its internal development team and third-party audits. Specific examples include Certik auditing the Coin98 Wallet and Armor reviewing C98 smart contracts on ETH and BSC.
